Deep within the Lower Eastern quadrant of the proud city of Waterdeep, amongst the murkier corners and crooked buildings, three strangers meet for the first time assembled around a secluded table at the Red Raven Inn.

The only thing connecting these three mad-capped adventurers are the indentically written and signed letters each of them carry. A formally written summons addressing them each by name requesting their presence at this exact spot for “the opportunity of a lifetime”.

Each of these letters has been signed with a decorative seal indicating it is at the behest of one of the city’s most infamous and elusive smugglers. Known by many as the Lord of Whisperers and Skulkers, Scarpy.
